Pristine Captures
Photography

Greetings from Pristine Captures Photography!
"Photography is the way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things long after you have forgotten" - Aaron Sanskind.
The above quote is an inspiration to me. What best can describe other than emotions in photography!
I am Hemamalini (Hema), and I started as a Performing Arts Photographer around 2014, covering majorly South Indian Classical Music, Hindustani Music, Dance and Discourses. The love for music grew along with me and so did the passion towards photographing moments subtly. I have shot over 300 musicians to date and I also shoot portraits of artists.
What inspires me about photography is the ability to freeze any moment for eternity - because, for me, memories are some of the most powerful things we possess as humans. In every single project I take on, I think about how impactful these photos will be for decades to come.

Aside from Performing Arts photography, my other interests are on the rich cultural heritage that India has in the form of temples, architectures and monuments and the nature that India is proud of. These moments got better under the guidance and trip with Prof Ramanidharan, an ace Monument Photographer in India.
